The Hawkesbury Nepean River is a central part of our landscape. This Geographical Inquiry focuses on the environmental and human processes that form and transform landscapes and landforms, with a particular focus on the Hawkesbury River at Sackville North. The program includes loads of fieldwork and mapping skills as well as pre- and post-excursion lessons and an assessment task.
This activity is tailored for large Year 7 groups and provides a wide variety of field testing skills and experiences. Cattai National Park near Pitt Town is a perfect setting for this hands on exploration of the local area.
