Steve is a passionate advocate for the environment and although he particularly loves working with senior high school students, he has a very engaging way with younger students.
Carly Howden – School Administration Manager

Carly came to Brewongle with over 10 years’ experience in corporate business administration and sales. She has exceptional people skills and with an environmental background, Carly is the perfect front-woman for Brewongle.
Kate Keary – Teacher (full time)

Teaching background: Secondary Geography & Science (Biology & Physics)
Kate is a committee member for the Australian Association for Environmental Education (AAEE) and is an education consultant for AUSMAP. She loves designing and teaching new programs in primary Geography and Science as well as supporting primary teachers in these areas.
Sue Price – Teacher (Tues – Thurs)

Sue is a descendant of the Aboriginal people of the Yuin Nation and has a passion for educating about Country – where environment, culture and people connect. Sue believes that responsibility to Country is carried by all Australians, Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal and aims to share this understanding. Sue also teaches pre-service teachers at Western Sydney University.
Robyn Peek – Teacher (Monday & Tuesday)

Robyn is an avid historian with a wealth of teaching experience and knowledge of the local history. With experience as a teacher librarian, Robyn has a strong literacy background.
Kate Fewtrell – Teacher (Thursday & Friday)

Kate is an experienced teacher across multiple education systems. She is exceptionally knowledgable about teaching and learning, with specialist training in Gifted and Talented, ESL and Aboriginal Education.

Kristi is an enthusiastic and positive teacher with a perfect blend of literacy and outdoor teaching experience.

Katrina is a highly sought after primary teacher with a passion for environmental and Aboriginal education.
Pam Springer – Teacher (Casual)

Pam is a highly experienced teacher and shares herself between Brewongle, Longneck Lagoon and local schools. With her ‘Mother Earth’ vibe and passion for exploring, she’s a beautifully engaging EEC teacher.

Very friendly but missing a leg due to a run-in with a dog prior to his Brewongle life.

Moody old Nessy who loves her bananas and strawberries.
Wendy the Wallaby
Often seen by students, munching on the kangaroo grass around Brewongle. A regular in our camera trap footage. Wendy sometimes has a joey in her pouch and sometimes we see Wally too!
